This month the Glossy Box came in a gorgeous red box which I will struggle to part with.  It’s so dramatic and I think it will work well in my monochrome office.  I’m like a kid that can’t get past the box this month, that’s for sure!

So beautifully wrapped as usual and I hate to ruin it!

Inside there seemed to be a never ending supply of new products to try.

Smokey Eye Pen from Rodial – Full Size – RRP £17.  Remember those days when I used to be a one eyeliner girl!  Now I have a pencil case full.  And I love trying new ones as I find new favourites.  This is black (Yay!) and looks a bit more like a crayon than a pencil so the smokey eye look will be more achievable from the blunter edge.

Long Lasting Lip Marker from Gosh – Full Size RRP £8.50.  What the?  This looks like a highlighter.  I had to double check the packaging to see it wasn’t something else.  My go to lip magic at the moment is a Burt’s Bees crayon (I have several!!) so I wonder whether this will take over.  It actually feels like putting a highlighter to my lips  Great berry smell though.  I feels nicely hydrating and has a good colour to it.  People will probably look at me strangely if I put it on in public I think!!!

Better than Sex Mascara by Too Faced – Sample Size, RRP £19.  This is available in Debenhams and is one of the hot mascaras at the moment.  It’s waterproof and adds volume and length.  It definitely did that.  My eyelashes looked massive but I found it a bit flaky.  That may be something you can get used to with the trade off being such dramatic lashes!

Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat from Revlon – Full Size £7.99 available from Boots.  Every girl needs a top coat in her manicure kit so this is a welcome arrival for my wicker basket!

Hydro Face Mask from Vitamasques – RRP 7.99.  Ohh, one of those invisible man masks, I love them!  They are just so relaxing.  Instantly.  This is not a sheet mask but a hydro-gel mask.  Well, we shall see!

I also got a sample for The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Glow mask.

As usual I just love the presentation of the Glossy Box, they put so much thought and effort into it and deserve to be one of the most popular boxes.  The collaboration with the Red Editor this month, giving me my glorious red box, is nicely done and I am certainly also interested in the excellent subscription offer which I will be having a look at.

I loved the weirdness of the products this month, the crayon and the highlighter.  Perfect for the month that the kids go back to school!
