I love my Saturday morning post.  It brings into focus happiness throughout my week.  It makes me look at things in a more positive way.  As I try to work out what will be on my list I am forever looking for “Five Great Things”!  Having that outlook in the week can’t be bad.  Five Great Things should probably be in my list!

  1. The Respectfully_Vintage Instagram page.  The lady that runs Respectfully Vintage is a star.  That definitely shines through on her posts.  She has great vintage stock and, for me, especially Pyrex.  She works really hard at her vintage but what I also love about Respectfully Vintage is what a family affair it is.  Her husband and son are always helping out on her stalls when I see her at the Festival of Vintage.
  2. Speaking of The Festival of Vintage, my favourite vintage fair, early-bird tickets just went on sale.  The fair takes place in April at the racecourse in York.  Honestly, it is worth the journey.  This is more than a vintage fair.  More than a buying experience.  This is an extravaganza.  Fashion shows, music, cars, dance lessons.  Two days of vintage heaven!
  3. Getting my hair cut.  I’ve got the best hairdresser.  She does my hair brilliantly, at my house, and she’s nice to boot.  Having your hair cut and getting to drink your own tea.  Could life be better!
  4. Chris Pine. 😂
  5. Increased my cycling distance to 40k this week which is pretty good isn’t it.  And this route I happened upon had a lot of hills.  Pleased with my progress.

Have a lovely weekend and I’ll see you bright and early on Monday morning for the start of another week.

Lots of Love
